they say you can tell someone’s a tourist because they’re wandering around the city constantly looking up. well lemme tell ya, my eyes are always averted from the ground, towards the sky. tops of buildings, i say! and i ain’t no dang tourist.
even after a decade of calling this place my home, i can’t seem to shake the wonderment of living here. it’s magical i tell ya.

in the spirit of giving credit where credit is due, i must confess... the (what i believe to be) creativity behind the url of this particular blog, is not of my own creation. you see, the actual spelling of verisimilitude was already taken, and i remembered back to the time when a boy i once knew was in love with a girl he once knew with the handle you see above, only with some other (now probably defunct) blog community's extension. but that was a long long time ago, and i can only assume that that girl has long since moved on, and because the name was available whilst simultaneously hiding behind the cowardly mantra of "nothing is original," i stole it. i hope you don't mind.
